Pati was born and raised in Van Wert County. She graduated from Hoaglin -Jackson High School in 1958 and was crowned Peony Queen. She then continued her education at Toledo for court reporting and business. Pati got a job in the State House of Representatives and then at the Governor's Office in Columbus. She then got married and lived in Denver for 32 years. Pati has one adult daughter, Meagan, who resides in Denver. After that she moved back to Van Wert to be with her mother. She has been working with Dr. Taylor for 9 years.
